  1. Altec Lansing UHP326 Backbeat Series In Ear Headphone with Ulitmate Ears technology

I bought these to replace some SkullCandy earbuds, but these are the absolute worst earbuds ever. They crackle and my music sounds terrible. As much as I spent on these and they sound like crappy fakes. I expected more from Altec Lansing and I am seriously disappointed with this purchase. Buyer beware. The base is awful at any level and the louder the music the worse these sound. You can buy better earbuds for less and they sound lots better.

  2. I have tried several In-Ear headphones. I don’t find them comfortable. I replaced this with ATH-ES7 and am quite happy with that.

  3. The main initial thing that hit me was the lack of range. I know other people mentioned it, but its really bad. I went back and forth between these and the buds that came with my wife’s iPod and the iPod buds have superior sound. I wouldn’t recommend these unless you just don’t like bass.

  4. I have a thing about putting things in my ears: I don’t like to do it. But I need to since I frequently do my surfing at night when the television is on and I’m sick of the dirty looks I get as I try to listen to a YouTube video or a podcast.

I’d only tried my iPhone 3GS’s earphones in recent history and I hated them. Altec Lansing’s offering has changed my tune — and stopped the dirty looks. While I still don’t like things in my ears, these come with several sizes of ear buds and one fits very comfortably. The sound quality is excellent (for my uses — I can only speak for talk, not music).

Finally, the cloth covered-wires are great because my cat doesn’t notice them and go into attack mode like he does with more obvious (and wiggly) plastic-coated ones.

  5. I have purchased many MP3 players over the years, and currently have a Zune 8GB. I have always used the included pair of headphones and found the quality to be suitable for my casual needs. I never felt compelled to buy a seperate pair of headphones until now. The Altec Lansing UHP326 headphones offer exceptional quality sound, that is night and day. It is clear, crisp and fantastic. The bass is also great. The packaging includes a very premium mini case that holds the headphones, which is great. The cord feels like fabric, almost like shoelaces, so it’s very smooth and looks great. I really recommend the Altec Lansing UHP326 headphones, they offer exceptional audio quality, great noise cancellation so you feel immersed in your music, and the price is great. If you have a Zune, iPod, Creative Zen, or nearly any MP3 player, upgrade your audio quality and buy these headphones!
