Im sort of a picky customer I have owned like 5 different models of surround sound 5. 1 headphones. These are sturdy looking and the felt headphone piece looks like it could last longer than the leather/fake leather ones. They are comfortable I have a big head and don’t make my head pulsate after hours of wearing them. The ease of the removable mike is nice. Also the controls on the wire nice off/on mike an volume control. the microphone quality is good never heard a compliant of bad transmit. The surround Sound quality is also good but can be awkward sometimes on some fps games. The documents are nonexistent they are extremely sparse. really leaves things up in the air on game audio settings. that would be the worst part of these headphones is the lack of documentation of what these things really are and what they can do. Ive had these headphones for a few months are they are holding up well to my abuse.

Hi
I have been using this product since one year ago, and the sound quality remains the same, great. I was a little disappointing for the price initially but sure the price worth the product.
PROS:
- Sound Quality is great
- The involving sound in your ears make a really good time for music listening.
- Great for use with VoIP applications.
- Detachable micro.
CONS:
- There is a small noise when mixing various apps, like VoIP and your multimedia.
- Driver conflicts when using in a Windows PC.
- Generates computer overload when connecting and disconnecting USB device.
- Microphone protection will blow in 2 months.
I still giving 5 stars rate because of the sound quality or comfort.
Good look.

Very uncomfortable from the get go. They are simply two tight, it made me feel like I had a vise over my ears. They are adjustable on the sides , but nothing on top to increase their width, which these desperately need. The earphones are also kinda small, they don’t “cup” your ears, instead they rest on them. . . or I should say crush them.
The sound quality if really great, if your using Win7 64bit though you need to download the beta driver from Creative, the one on the CD will not work. The software suite on the CD should be updated as well. Once I got all those things taken care of I was really blown away with the sound quality and the adjustments to it I was able to make. Since these are USB, there is no need for an expensive sound card to get this sound quality(This is strictly USB, no 3. 5 jacks).
If these had an adjustable width, they would be my dream headset as that would help get rid of the comfort issue. As is though, they were pretty much useless to me as an avid gamer who plays long hours. . . there is simply no way I could sit there for hours with these on, I had a hard time just wearing them for 20 minutes. I ended up returning them due to this.
I do not have a particularly large head, so the best I could say is these would be perfect for younger teenagers and kids, but on most adults they would simply be to small. Creative did great with the sound quality, now they just need to fix how they fit. If they ever do that I will not hesitate to buy them.

I am testing this headset for about one hour already. . . and so disapointed. Nice sound quality, comfortable, but NOT LOUD ENOUGH. Downloaded the latest drivers. Volume’s on full and nothing. So bad. Going to RMA it on monday. One only thing I can say – if I’d pay 20-25 bucks for those, maybe I’d keep it. After all they’re decent enough to chat with your friends on SKYPE, or maybe watch a non-action movie before going to bed
So, thank you, for nothing, Creative.

My model had a problem with the USB cable that would cause it to reinstall itself whenever I moved, but ignoring that problem. . .
The sounds from the headphones are great. The quality of the microphone is also great. I have no complaints on using it to play my games or voice communication. My complaint comes from the comfort and the build quality of the headphones.
1. The cloth padding on the headphones are pretty soft which is good. The problem is after the cloth padding, the actual thing that the sound comes out of is rock hard. So if your ears are touching/rubbing on them, it hurts.
2. The headphones were REALLY tight on my head. It hurt my head after a while. It might loosen up over a lot of usage, but I didn’t want to go through that much pain.
3. The microphone will bend, and is good at angling toward your mouth, but it doesn’t swivel up like other headsets. So if you’re doing things like drinking/eating in front of your computer, the microphone will get in the way. That sucks. I know it’s detachable, but if you’re doing things on the fly, you don’t want to be pulling out the microphone, then taking off the headset, and plugging it back in.
Another thing to note is that these are USB headphones. If you’re a laptop gamer, then I think these would suit you very well. I game on my desktop. When you plug in USB headphones, they are now a new sound device. You can only choose to have windows output to one sound device. So it’s going to be headphones or speakers. Having to configure games and applications everytime I decided to switch from speakers to headphones really sucked.
If you’re a desktop gamer, then I’d recommend just getting the normal analog plugs (headphone/microphone) to have more versatility and easier use if you’re switching from speakers to headphones a lot. If you’re an always headphones guy, then sure the USB would be fine. I also recommend going to the slightly more expensive version which has the swivel microphone.
One last thing to note, the cloth doesn’t do any sound isolation. So that can be good or bad. It was good for me because I could hear my wife when she was calling for me, but it’s bad because it won’t cancel out the sound of her vacuuming.
I would recommend to anyone looking at headsets to get the Turtle Beach Earforce X1. These are a lot more comfortable, and they can work on the PC or the Xbox 360. . and they’re the same price.
