  1. I’m still installing it because I have to get the plumber tape since it leaks. I haven’t showered with it; I’ve only tested it with my hand while standing on the tub. My burning question is: which direction of the lever is 1. 85 gpm & which is 2. 5 gpm? Since the pressure feels the same no matter where the lever is, I’m beginning to wonder if my shower head is defective. If you know, please advise.

The water pressure is great. Overall it looks okay, a bit plasticy. The biggest issue I have, is the instructions do not specify which direction the switch should be set to get water efficient pressure versus the less efficient pressure.

  3. The product does cut down the flow of water. My only concern is long term, I have questions about its craftmanship.

  4. I read all the good reviews and went ahead and bought this shower head. It does look nicer than our old one, but both hubby and I agreed that it’s not any better than the old one (which was just a regular shower head and very old). There is not enough streams (if you notice, only 4 “holes” on the head) and it seemed to be pretty harsh on the body. Even the lower setting is too strong for me. Sometimes it just feels like a strong water hose! Overall good quality (no leaking or breaking after a couple of months of use), but just not as great as I expected.

Before buying this shower head I tried soaking the existing shower head in vinegar and flushing it with water to clear out any mineral deposits but the water flow remained poor. After a lot of research I finally chose the Delta Fluidics head. I really did not expect such an invigorating flow of water! I really look forward to taking showers now. I would have given this product 5 stars except that I am just a bit worried about its durability. Not for any other reason except that it appears to be a plastic housing. But frankly, even if it only lasts a couple of years, if I can get another at this price it will be well worth it.
